Dental Crown Cost in Dubai 2026: Zirconia, Porcelain & E-max

How much do dental crowns cost in Dubai? Compare zirconia, porcelain, and E-max crown prices across 700+ clinics.

Dental Crown Prices in Dubai

A dental crown in Dubai costs between AED 1,000 and AED 5,000, depending on the material and the clinic. Dubai offers excellent value compared to Western countries, with many clinics using the same premium materials and CAD/CAM technology found in top European practices.

Price by Crown Material

|---------------|-------------------|----------|

Metal (PFM)1,000 – 2,000Back teeth (budget option)
Full porcelain2,000 – 3,500Front teeth
E-max (lithium disilicate)2,500 – 4,500Front & back teeth
Zirconia2,000 – 4,000Front & back teeth
Same-day CEREC crown2,500 – 4,500Any (single visit)

Zirconia vs. E-max: Which Is Better?

Zirconia crowns are extremely strong and ideal for back teeth or patients who grind their teeth. They've improved aesthetically in recent years but may still look slightly less natural than E-max on front teeth.

E-max crowns offer the best aesthetics — they're translucent like natural teeth and excellent for front teeth. They're strong enough for most situations but may chip under heavy grinding.

Our recommendation: E-max for front teeth (appearance matters most), Zirconia for back teeth (strength matters most).

Same-Day Crowns (CEREC)

Several Dubai clinics now offer CEREC same-day crowns. Instead of two visits with a temporary crown, the entire process — scanning, milling, and bonding — is completed in a single appointment (usually 2-3 hours).

Pros: No temporary crown, no second visit, digital precision

Cons: Slightly higher cost, limited material options (usually E-max or zirconia blocks)

When Do You Need a Crown?

  • After a root canal treatment (especially on molars)
  • For a cracked or severely broken tooth
  • To cover a large filling when little natural tooth remains
  • Over a dental implant
  • To improve the appearance of a misshapen or discolored tooth
  • As part of a dental bridge
  • How Long Do Crowns Last?

With proper care, dental crowns last:

  • Metal/PFM: 10-15 years
  • Full porcelain: 10-15 years
  • E-max: 15-20 years
  • Zirconia: 15-20+ years
  • Key factors: oral hygiene, grinding habits, diet, and regular dental check-ups.

    Tips for Choosing a Clinic

  • Ask what materials they use — avoid clinics that can't specify the brand
  • Inquire about the lab — in-house labs often mean faster turnaround and better quality control
  • Check if they offer a warranty — many good clinics offer 5-10 year warranties on crowns
  • Ask about color matching — the best clinics have the lab technician see you in person
